Biography

Dr Kasumawati Binti Lias is a lecturer at Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. She is a Ph.D. graduated from UiTM, Shah Alam. Her doctoral studies focus on the Biomedical Engineering applications and emphasize on hyperthermia, an alternative procedure for cancer treatment, where the electromagnetic wave is used as the heating technique. She has joined the Faculty of Engineering since 2005 as a tutor. Before pursuing her study at UiTM Shah Alam, She has served the faculty as the Coordinator Program (Electronics and Telecommunication) Engineering and Coordinator for Quality Management Unit (QMU), where the unit is responsible for ensuring every program in Faculty of Engineering comply with the Quality Management System, MS ISO 9001: 2008. Then, she was also the advisor for student association faculty of engineering (SAFE) and IEM-SAFE UNIMAS student section.
