Executive Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is highly relevant and has broad prospects in line with the nation’s aspiration to embrace the Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0. It is also aimed to spur growth in the local electrical and electronics sector in the Sama Jaya Industrial Area, Kuching and for programme development of Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) in Sarawak. There is a labour shortage faced by the electrical and electronics industries. Thus, the government ensures enough human capital to support the electrical and electronics industries, thereby contributing to the economic interests of Malaysia. By offering this course in UNIMAS, it is expected to produce qualified human resources and skilled workers which are critical in the growth of the electrical and electronics engineering field especially in Sarawak
REQUIREMENTS
The requirements for admission to the Executive Diploma Programme are as follows:
- Malaysian;
- Pass SPM with three credits or equivalent;
- At least three (3) years of working experience in related fields;
- At least 21 years old.

HEALTHCARE FACILITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
The complexity of modern day healthcare facility management requires competent facility managers in meeting stakeholders’ needs. Advanced knowledge and skills are crucial to anyone involved in a healthcare setting.
The Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS is offering the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager programme to develop facility managers who will optimize the physical healthcare environment.
The programme is developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and industrial players, offering modules adhering to the standards of a certified healthcare facility manager for both public and private sectors.
Certificate in Manufacturing Technology
The programme is designed to produce candidates equipped with the strong background and skills required to build their career in operation, production, management and service relevant to mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
The participants will be introduced to manufacturing processes and giving them the overview of engineering in industrial manufacturing processes.
