Biography

Dr Mohd Syahmi bin Jamaludin was born and raised in Johor on 2nd April 1987. He graduated his high school in Sekolah Alam Shah (SAS) on 2004 and continue his study in Diploma of Japanese Technical Engineering at Universiti Industri Selangor (UNISEL). Then he is furthering his study to Japan by joining twinning program degree called Japanese Associate Degree (JAD) in Takushoku University and continue his master degree at the same university in year 2012. He received his doctoral degree at Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) in year 2020. He is a member of Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) since 2012 and has experience in teaching for various subject related to robotic and mechatronic for about 8 years. His research is focusing in more to robotics and automation niche area. Since his doctoral degree is related to rehabilitation and healthcare engineering, several collaboration between health care center and universities in Japan has been made to enhance the rehabilitation research area in Malaysia. Present, he has been appointed as a lecturer in department of mechanical and manufacturing engineering in University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS)
