Biography

Presently the Media Unit Coordinator at the Chancellory and International Relations Office (UNIMAS Global). Project leader for the  "Japan-ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Platform (JASTIP)" and the "Fundamental Research Grant Scheme for Research Acculturation of Early Career Researchers (FRGS-RACER)". Research interest focuses on characterization and mechanical properties for material with strengthening potential; fluid dynamics visualization of molten metal during high pressured die-casting and seismic hazard on mega structure such as dam. 10 years experience with multi-physics static and transient finite element method. Current work includes: Dabai fruit (indigenous fruit) nutshell for potential strengthening material and activated carbon; seismic hazard studies on dam structures in the Rajang-Crocker belt; mechanical responses between colonies with different crystallography in Pearlite microstructure; fluid dynamics comparison of water simulated as high pressured die-casting fluid in acrylic-based mold with molten high pressured die-casting condition.
