TheJournal of Civil Engineering, Science and Technology (JCEST)is a biannual (April and September), open-access and peer-reviewed e-journal for publication of original research articles, review articles, and short communication on scientific and novel studies on recent research and developments that significantly contributes to the national and international Civil Engineering, Science and Technology community.



It is of our greatest hope that various topics in JCEST can stir the interest of our readers so that the articles published in this journal can ultimately inspire more ground-breaking research and findings that can be published JCEST.JCEST welcomes manuscripts that may open new endeavors to new areas and frontiers of scholarly studies in the following topics (but not limited to):


· Structural Engineering and Construction Materials,
· Highway and Transportation Engineering,
· Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering,
· Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering,

Journal of Civil Engineering, Science and Technology (JCEST) was first published in August 2009, formerly known as UNIMAS e-Journal of Civil Engineering (UeJCE). It started to have its regular 2 issues in 2011.The journal initially was used as a platform to cultivate research cultures among the Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS academic staff and students. In a long run, it can promote original papers of a high scientific standard and enhances communication among academicians, engineers, researchers and professionals. Starting from Volume 6, Issue 2,2015 UeJCE was rebranded and transformed to JCEST in terms of quality and management to follow the guidelines of an excellent journal provide by Scopus Index and ISI Thompson Reuters. JCEST is indexed in Google Scholar and MyCite. Its aim of becoming a Scopus Indexed journal seems clear within reach with its credibility and commitment from the Editorial Board to implement its Editorial Policy based on its Code of Ethics to ensure only quality manuscript will be published. The recommendation of this journal to your fellow academics, researchers and students can make this effort significant.
